产品关联密度与企业新产品出口稳定性

Product Density and the Stability of Firms' New Product Export

摘要: 本文使用2000-2006年中国海关数据库数据,研究了产品关联密度与企业新产品出口稳定性的关系。结果发现:产品关联密度对新产品出口稳定性有显著影响,企业出口新产品与其所在地区其他产品间的平均关联强度越强,新产品出口关系越稳定;产品关联通过投入联系、劳动力共享、知识溢出及国际市场需求联系影响出口稳定性;一般贸易和内资企业新产品出口稳定性受产品关联密度影响更大,且主要源自其与其他一般贸易和内资企业间的关联;而生产效率高的企业和差异化产品出口稳定性受产品关联密度的影响更大;产品关联密度对出口稳定性的影响具有空间递减特征。

Abstract: This paper examines the link between product density and export stability of new products using Chinese customs database during the period between 2000 and 2006. The main findings are as follows:product density has a statistically and economically significant positive influence on the stability of the new product export relation after controlling other variables; the effect of product density originates from input linkages, labour pooling, knowledge spillover and international market demand linkages; ordinary and domestic firms benefit more from product relatedness with other ordinary and domestic firms; the effect of product density is more pronounced in firms which have greater productive efficiency and export differentiated products; the effect of product density on export stability shows a spatial decay.
